The nature playground is a true destination within a destination; a place for “children” of all ages. The site is located at the heart of the “island” (in Oak Lake Provincial Park); nestled amongst all the amenities an “island getaway” can provide and will become the hub of the community.
The site blends imagination with the natural environment – both water and forest. The vision is to connect visitors to the local cultural and natural heritage of Oak Lake Beach and surrounding area, making play educational and making learning fun and creating a destination that is truly made in Manitoba.
