The Qualico Family Centre opened this week! Located at the edge of the duck pond, in the heart of Assiniboine Park. The Qualico Family Centre showcases the surrounding landscape while being part of it at the same time. One hundred percent of the original on-site vegetation was reclaimed and used either within the space or has been stored to be used in future projects. Scatliff Miller Murray was the lead landscape architects and was an active member of the design and development of this project and the recently completed children’s playground and duck pond. With the initial hardscaping phase completed we look forward to seeing the landscape come to life in the spring!
